The Perry Panthers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Austintown-Fitch Falcons to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host GlenOak for a Federal bout on Tuesday, September 16. Perry will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Strongsville (Strongsville, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Austintown-Fitch falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Canfield (Canfield, OH) to face the Cardinals in a All-American game on Tuesday, September 16. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 7-1. Canfield won 2-1 in their recent league game against Howland (Warren, OH)
