The Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN) soccer overwhelmed the host Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN), 6-1 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Hornets now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Purdue Polytechnic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Beech Grove will encounter a Techies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN). The Techies record now stands at 5-4.
The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Putnam (Roachdale, IN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, North Putnam was overwhelmed by Frankfort (Frankfort, IN), 7-2, in a league contest.
