Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) fans went home happy Saturday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Berkeley Springs Indians (Berkeley Springs, WV), 7-2 in a non-league outing.
The Colts (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats enter the Big Ten outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Grafton was overwhelmed by Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Indians confront the Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) in a Potomac Valley outing, on Thursday, September 18. Berkeley Springs will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record.
