In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Bloomington South Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Floyd Central Highlanders.
The Panthers (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Cathedral by St. Xavier (Louisville, KY), 7-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Highlanders play the Seymour Owls (Seymour, IN) in a Hoosier Hills game, on Tuesday, September 16. Floyd Central will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Owls come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 1-0 league win over New Albany (New Albany, IN).
