Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), saw Charlotte Catholic's soccer squad triumph over East Forsyth by a count of 7-0.

The Cougars (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers come into the Southern Carolina 6A/7A match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Piedmont was overwhelmed by Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC), 5-1, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Guilford for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. East Forsyth will battle a Nighthawks squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Watauga (Boone, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-3.
