The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Phillips Exeter Academy Lions to 0 in the Pelicans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pelicans now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingswood Oxford for a Founders game on Monday, September 15. Loomis Chaffee School will face a Wyverns team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Luke's (New Canaan, CT). The Wyverns record now stands at 1-1.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA). The Sextants enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Belmont Hill held off Phillips Academy (Andover, MA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
