Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Loveland Tigers (Loveland, OH) and the host Sycamore Aviators (Cincinnati, OH), saw Loveland's soccer squad hold off Sycamore by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Turpin (Cincinnati, OH). The Spartans come into the Eastern Cincinnati match with a 7-1 record.

The Aviators now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakota East for a Greater Miami test on Thursday, September 18. Sycamore will confront a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 2-4.
