In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Twinsburg Tigers soccer team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Mentor Cardinals.
With the triumph, Twinsburg moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Nordonia (Macedonia, OH) to clash with the Knights in a Suburban - National test on Tuesday, September 16. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-5. Nordonia lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
The Cardinals now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Avon for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Mentor will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 league win over Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
