Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA), saw Neshannock's soccer squad triumph over Mercer by a count of 5-0.

The Lancers (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA). The enter the WPIAL A 1 battle with a 2-1 record.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Mercer will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Sharon (Sharon, PA).
