Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Raiders (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Spencer (Rockport, IN). The Rebels go into the Pocket outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, South Spencer got by Tell City (Tell City, IN), 1-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) in a Pocket game, on Monday, September 15. Mt. Vernon will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN).
