Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV) and the host Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV), saw The Linsly School's soccer squad triumph over Oak Glen by a count of 6-0.

The Cadets (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Edison (Richmond, OH). The Wildcats come into the Buckeye 8 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Edison was overwhelmed by Brooke (Wellsburg, WV), 6-0, in a league match.

The Golden Bears now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Heartland Christian for a non-league match on Monday, September 15. Oak Glen will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bristol (Bristolville, OH). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
