Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the host Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), 5-1 in a non-league outing.
The Cyclones (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Canon City (Canon City, CO). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Canon City edged Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO), 10-0, in a non-league test.
The Scorpions now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Discovery Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Sand Creek will clash with a Thunder team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 2-4.
