In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Sandburg Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Waubonsie Valley Warriors.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Aurora East was edged by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Waubonsie Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Porters go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
