The Chargers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Turner (Kansas City, KS). The Golden Bears enter the United Kansas battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Turner Piper (Kansas City, KS), 1-1, in a league test.

The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salina Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. South will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Great Bend (Great Bend, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
