Nebraska High School Softball - Bishop Neumann bounces Mercy

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop Neumann Cavaliers softball squad scored a good 15-0 triumph over the Mercy Monarchs.
With the triumph, Bishop Neumann improves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Cavaliers host Pius X (Lincoln, NE) to play the Thunderbolts in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 16. The Thunderbolts enter the game with a record of 4-10. Pius X lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Ralston (Ralston, NE)
The Monarchs now hold a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Buena Vista for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Mercy will play a Bison squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Omaha South (Omaha, NE). The Bison record now stands at 4-9.
