The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Charles Page Sandites (Sand Springs, OK) and the visiting Skiatook Bulldogs (Skiatook, OK), observed Charles Page's softball team notch a victory over Skiatook by a final score of 8-0.
The Sandites (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers go into the non-league bout with a 19-6 record. In their last bout, Dewey gained a win over Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK), 5-1, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Verdigris for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Skiatook will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Oologah (Oologah, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-5.
