In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Preston Pirates softball team scored a tight 5-0 win over the Davenport Bulldogs.
The Pirates (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Buccaneers come into the 2A match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Tonkawa was routed by Blackwell (Blackwell, OK), 10-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Inola (Inola, OK). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Inola edged Mounds (Mounds, OK), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
