Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldoggers play the Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) in a 3A challenge, on Monday, September 15. Dewey will attempt to better on its 20-7 season record.

With the loss, Sperry moves to 11-8 on the season. The Pirates travel to Chandler (Chandler, OK) to confront the Lions in a 3A battle on Monday, September 15. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 18-2. Chandler won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Oak (Red Oak, OK)
