Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball team tip the host Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), 11-8 in a non-league match.

The Falcon (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Wahoo (Wahoo, NE). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Wahoo nipped Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE), 7-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bluejays meet the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Seward will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Clippers enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, NE).
