Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) fans went home satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK), 11-5 in a league battle.

The Bluejays now possess a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midwest City for a 5A District 2 battle on Monday, September 15. Guthrie will confront a Bombers team coming off a 2-0 league win over El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Bombers record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Guymon falls to 9-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Laverne (Laverne, OK) to meet the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Laverne lost 11-10 in their recent non-league battle against Turpin (Turpin, OK)
