The Hartshorne Miners softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Tupelo Tigers to 0 in the Miners non-league win on Saturday.
The Miners now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coalgate for a 2A battle on Tuesday, September 16. Hartshorne will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-5.
The Tigers (6-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Coalgate (Coalgate, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Coalgate edged Savanna (Savanna, OK), 11-0, in a league challenge.
