The Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) softball overwhelmed the host Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO), 11-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Fighting Indians (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Eureka knocked off Lafayette (Wildwood, MO), 8-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Oak Grove Panthers (Oak Grove, MO) in a Class 3 District 14 bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Odessa will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 14-10 league win over Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, MO).
