Missouri High School Softball - Kirkwood edges Southern Boone

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Kirkwood Pioneers softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Southern Boone Eagles.
The Pioneers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, St. Francis Borgia nipped Lutheran (St. Peters, MO), 10-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Boonville Pirates (Boonville, MO) in a Class 3 District 4 match, on Monday, September 15. Southern Boone will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
