Nebraska High School Softball - O'Neill bounces Lexington

The Lexington Minutemen softball squad (Lexington, NE), was routed 15-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE)

With the triumph, O'Neill improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Central City (Central City, NE) to face the Bison in a non-league contest on Monday, September 15. The Bison enter the contest with a record of 8-2. Central City won 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE)

The Minutemen now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Cozad for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Lexington will clash with a Haymakers team coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Highway 6 (Holdrege, NE). The Haymakers record now stands at 8-8.
