The Northridge Grizzlies triumphed over the visiting Northfield Nighthawks softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies confront the Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) in a 4A/3A Longs Peak battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Northridge will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Roughriders come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 6-3 league win over Berthoud (Berthoud, CO).

With the loss, Northfield moves to 9-4 on the season. The Nighthawks host Denver South (Denver, CO) to meet the Ravens in a 5A/4A Denver Prep challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Ravens enter the challenge with a record of 4-7.
