Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Peck Pirates (Peck, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Muskrats (7-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran North beat Regina (Warren, MI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Peck will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Soldiers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Byron (Byron, MI).
