The Byron Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Alma Panthers to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Birch Run for a Mid-Michigan Athletic outing on Tuesday, September 16. Byron will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 12-5.

The Panthers (14-4) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Bearcats go into the Tri-Valley - East game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Bridgeport was dropped by Freeland (Freeland, MI), 3-0, in a league game.
