North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashbrook R-S Central

The R-S Central Hilltoppers prevailed the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave volleyball squad by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host East Rutherford for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 16. R-S Central will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Ashbrook drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Crest (Shelby, NC) to clash with the Chargers in a Big South 5A/6A bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 9-11. Crest won 3-0 in their recent league bout against North Gaston (Dallas, NC)
