The Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Galax for a Mountain Empire bout on Tuesday, September 16. Auburn will clash with a Maroon Tide squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 2-5.
The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Chilhowie notched a victory over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
