The Heppner Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Baker Bulldogs to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weston-McEwen for a 2A Blue Mountain match on Thursday, September 18. Heppner will confront a TigerScots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The TigerScots record now stands at 3-4.

The Bulldogs (3-12) will now prepare for their match against Powder Valley (North Powder, OR). The Badgers enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Powder Valley gained a win over Grant Union (John Day, OR), 2-0, in a non-league match.
