The Barnesville Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy for a non-league game on Monday, September 15. Barnesville will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hancock (Hancock, MN). The Comets record now stands at 4-0.

The Thunderbirds (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Frazee (Frazee, MN). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Frazee went down by Hawley (Hawley, MN), 3-1, in a league game.
