The Beatrice Orangemen volleyball squad (Beatrice, NE), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE)

With the win, Battle Creek improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Braves travel to Pierce (Pierce, NE) to battle the Bluejays in a C1 District 7 contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Bluejays enter the contest with a record of 7-4. Pierce lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE)

Next, the Orangemen battle the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) in a C1 District 4 contest, on Thursday, September 18. Beatrice will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record.
