Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Battle Creek advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Beatrice (Beatrice, NE) to face the Orangemen in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Orangemen go into the test with a record of 3-7. Beatrice lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Platteview (Springfield, NE)

The Cougars now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Gross Catholic will face a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE). The record now stands at 4-5.
