Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Grinnell beat Regina (Iowa City, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a Heart of Iowa challenge, on Monday, September 15. West Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA).
