Minnesota High School Volleyball - Elk River nudged by Blaine

In Saturday's league challenge, the host Blaine Bengals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Elk River Elks.

The Bengals (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Rosemount was nudged by Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Elks meet the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a Northwest Suburban challenge, on Monday, September 15. Elk River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Osseo (Osseo, MN).
