Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI) and the host Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI), observed Breckenridge's volleyball team top Standish-Sterling by a tally of 2-0.

The Huskies (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, St. Charles achieved victory over Montabella (Blanchard, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vassar for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Standish-Sterling will encounter a Vulcans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Laker (Pigeon, MI). The Vulcans record now stands at 5-1.
