The Custer Wildcats volleyball squad (Custer, SD), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD)

The Bobcats (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers enter the AA District 1 challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Rapid City Central got by Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the South Bison (Cheyenne, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Bison enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Laramie (Laramie, WY).
