Ohio High School Volleyball - Canton South over Buchtel

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH) and the host Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), observed Canton South's volleyball team top Buchtel by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Firestone (Akron, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Firestone achieved victory over Ellet (Akron, OH), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Griffins now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Firestone for a Akron City battle on Tuesday, September 16. Buchtel will meet a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
