Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN) and the host Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY), observed Marion County's volleyball team top Buckhorn by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record.

The Wildcats now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leslie County for a District 54 battle on Monday, September 15. Buckhorn will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 14-1.
