Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) and the visiting Buena Vista Longhorns (Imperial, TX), observed Klondike's volleyball team top Buena Vista by a count of 3-0.

The Cougars (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wink (Wink, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 16-13 record. In their last contest, Wink was knocked off by Alpine (Alpine, TX), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Buena Vista will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 8-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kermit (Kermit, TX).
