The Burgin Bulldogs were victorious over the visiting Jackson County Generals volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now have a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Mercer County for a District 46 outing on Tuesday, September 16. Burgin will play a Titans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Titans record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Jackson County drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Wayne County (Monticello, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 7-3. Wayne County won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against North Laurel (London, KY)
