The Central Wildcats edged the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wildcats face the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Central will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Destrehan (Destrehan, LA).
The Cavaliers (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Hahnville held off Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
