Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA) and the host Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), observed Clinton's volleyball team hold off Camanche by a count of 2-1.

The River Kings (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Davenport West was tipped by Clinton (Clinton, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians meet the Marquette Defenders (Bellevue, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Camanche will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Defenders go into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA).
