Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) and the visiting Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA), observed Casa Grande's volleyball team hold off Terra Nova by a count of 2-1.

The Gauchos (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Petaluma (Petaluma, CA). The Trojans go into the Vine Valley Athletic League battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Petaluma tipped American Canyon (American Canyon, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mills for a Peninsula - Ocean battle on Tuesday, September 16. Terra Nova will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-9.
