Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad tip the host Cedar Falls Tigers (Cedar Falls, IA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA). The Dodgers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Fort Dodge was nudged by Mason City (Mason City, IA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley-Mississippi challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Cedar Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA).
