In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cedar Mountain Cougars.

The Titans (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva beat Medford (Medford, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Cedar Mountain will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN).
