The Keokuk Chiefs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Centerville Big Reds/Redettes to 1 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chiefs now have a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 16. Keokuk will face a Demons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Demons record now stands at 5-6.

The Big Reds/Redettes (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Cardinal was edged by Chariton (Chariton, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
