Georgia High School Volleyball - Central over Rockmart

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA), observed Central's volleyball team top Rockmart by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (20-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 11-15 record. In their last contest, Northgate was knocked off by Ringgold (Ringgold, GA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Yellowjackets battle the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Rockmart will attempt to move on its 9-19 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 9-15 record after their 2-1 league win over Heard County (Franklin, GA).
