The Cerro Gordo/DeLand-Weldon Broncos volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes to 1 in the Broncos non-league victory on Saturday.

Next up, the Broncos confront the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 24. Cerro Gordo/DeLand-Weldon will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Tornadoes (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Warrensburg-Latham was tipped by Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
