The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) and the host Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL), saw St. Thomas More's volleyball squad notch a victory over Clinton by a score of 2-0.

With the win, St. Thomas More improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Sabers travel to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 5-6. Maroa-Forsyth won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL)

The Maroons now hold a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peoria Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. Clinton will meet a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 8-7.
